On the other side of the SKEDGE, there is an outside flat honing stone, to sand off any unwanted spurs. There are two openings, each a different size, to fit most all blades. THE SKEDGE now comes in the original version as well as a more Hockey friendly version where less exposed blades can better reach the honing stone. Both versions can be used for Hockey and Figure skates and both versions are available in BLACK, RED, and YELLOW, DARK BLUE, MEDIUM BLUE, PERIWINKLE, and GREEN.

THE SKEDGE at this time does Not accommodate the 4 mm thickness of a goalie blade. A Goalie version is being developed now and projected to be available to you this Winter 2007.
